I used this bag as my main luggage , travelling around new zealand for a few weeks, it was very comfortable even when full, stored several changes of clothes and shoes with economical packing, i never had any issues on any flight with taking it as carry on in the overhead bins, i would highly recommend.

Great backpack! It actually looked a bit smaller in the pictures than it is in reality, which was a pleasant surprise. I bought it in a set with the ultralight packing cubes and I’m absolutely delighted with them. Can’t wait to use the whole setup on my next trip!

This bag is not the lightest made by Cabin Zero, but it’s much more comfortable to carry when full. The load lifter straps and the padded back really make a difference, as well as the belt.
The bag is mostly a huge compartment with no organisation, but that is fine as you can use packing cubes to create the organisations you want for each trip. And I really like the bottle pocket.

Comfortable fit with strong seams and zipper. Accurate sizing with no issues encountered on our plane’s overhead compartment. Highly recommended.

I've bought this backpack from an authorized reseller and had two trips to Shanghai and Kuala Lumpur with it. This backpack has plenty of room for all my travel essentials and souvenirs. One bag is all I need. However, despite its comfy straps system, one must be mindful of putting stuff into the backpack as it can be quite heavy to carry for long period when packed to be brim. The quality of workmanship and materials are top-notched and have no doubt it will last a long time.

Together with the 28l, they are my travel buddies and I don't go anywhere without both of them.

I've been using this bag for every single trip, after receiving it as a gift two years ago. It holds so much and No airline has questioned it at all. If not filled completely it squishes perfectly under the seat. I will be needing the 44l one for my cold weather trips when I carry larger boots/coats/layers and I'm sure that'll become as much of a staple as this one is.

The main reason I chose this backpack was its large zipper, which offers easy visibility and organization of the contents—a feature I’ve found incredibly useful. However, there's a major downside: the fabric on the back panel has small plastic protrusions that act like sandpaper against clothing. This has become a serious nuisance, especially since I’m not even using the backpack for strenuous activities like long hikes. It's mostly for short trips between taxis or buses and the airport or hotel. I’m really disappointed, and to make matters worse, when I contacted customer support, they informed me that there’s nothing they can do because the warranty doesn’t cover this issue. This response has only added to my frustration.

I've been using the Military 44L model for a few months now mainly as my EDC. I love it. It is suitable for any need I might have. Like groceries. Or taking my daughter to judo class. It's very comfortable, low profile. It's elegant, I dare say. I just wish Cabinzero made an even larger one, I'd buy it instantly :) I highly recommend this backpack.

Just got the 44l for my upcoming trip to Thailand. Bag is very spacious. I have to get some packing cubes to maximize space. Bag is very sturdy and well built. My first cabin zero. Price is affordable. Will definitely invest in the pro version one of these days. Hopefully it will last long.

My mum always told me 'buy cheap, buy twice'. There are plenty of bags that offer similar capacity and are accepted on airlines as hand baggage and most of these cost a lot less but I doubt any of them compare to the amazing quality of the Cabin Zero bags. In my experience, my 44L Military backpack has been with me on business trips almost weekly every year for over 8 years and big adventures lasting 2+ weeks each of those years, where it has been strapped to mopeds, thrown in the back of trucks and strapped on my back rambling up a cliff. It has taken a lot of abuse but amazingly shows no signs of wear. I use packing bags and literally live out this bag most the year. It is so versatile. I never pay for checked baggage and have never had an issue using the bag as hand baggage on British Airways, EasyJet, American Airlines, Wizz Air and Eva Air. I bought one for my partner the week after mine arrived as I was so impressed with the quality of the bag, they love theirs as much as I love mine. I can't believe that I have only now bought a 28L Military backpack to use as my commuting bag and for short trips as a bag that goes under the airline seat. Until now I have had to replace cheap laptop bags at least annually, when the zip breaks or the material rip. I'm sure that won't be the case with my new Cabin Zero bag!

False advertising on cabin zero's part for over inflating volume numbers. I still stand by the 36 liters that I got during my testing. Prove to us the 44 liters you claim.

I've had this for 5 years now. Love it. It's been my trusty companion for a lot of traveling and gigs (electronic musician), and never failed me. Lightweight, zippers are solid, shoulder straps super comfortable, and it's just so spacious for a carry-on (never got questioned about its size at the airport). I wish the zipper at the front was horizontal rather than vertical, but that's a small thing. TIP: Tighten the shoulder straps, wrap them around the bag, and click them together on the front for "suitcase mode".

I will be going to Asia next spring and want to do carry on only. On Singapore Airlines I am limited to 15.4 pounds for my carry-on suitcase. This bag is the lightest and roomiest one that I have found. I also got the Military style because of the waist strap. Will not do a travel backpack without a waist strap. Looking forward to using it.

Suggest for a more expensive version
1. Interior padding (or at least add some padding to the bottom
2. Slot for retract backpack strap
3. Detachable waist strap, or add a strapping that "hugs" better with padding.
1.5x 2x the original price I'll still pay for such upgrades.

I used “Military Backpack 44L Nave” for the first time of travel using LCC. The size is parfait and easy to pack all the gears, and more, design is perfect.
